Overview As an AutoCAD Drafter, you'll turn design concepts and project requirements into clear, accurate drawings that support planning and construction. You'll collaborate with design and engineering teams, update plans as project details evolve, and help ensure documentation is ready for review and use. Duties Prepare and revise 2D drawings, schematics, construction details, and engineering CAD designs using AutoCAD and other CAD software. Create 3D CAD models and coordinate building information modeling (BIM) files with project teams. Review drawings for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with building codes and project requirements. Organize drawing files, incorporate feedback, and document revisions.

Skills Essential:

Drafting experience, proficiency with AutoCAD or comparable CAD software, and attention to detail.

Essential:

Familiarity with building code analysis and building code compliance.

Preferred tools:

SketchUp, Bluebeam, 3ds Max, Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, ArchiCAD, Revit, MicroStation, or SolidWorks. Additional exposure to 3D modeling software, graphic design, system design, 2D animation, or interior design is welcome.

Pay:

$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
