Job Description
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled AutoCAD Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise CAD drawings and documentation to support engineering and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in CAD software, experience with drafting various surveys, and the ability to produce construction detail documentation. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to complex design tasks within a collaborative environment. Duties Develop and modify detailed CAD drawings using industry-standard CAD software. Assist in engineering design tasks by translating concepts into accurate technical drawings. Prepare comprehensive construction detail documentation to support project implementation. Draft various survey plans, including topographical, site, or other specialized surveys. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings meet project specifications and standards. Review and revise drawings based on feedback to ensure accuracy and completeness. Maintain organized digital files of all CAD projects for easy retrieval and updates. Requirements Proven experience with CAD software, such as AutoCAD or similar platforms. Strong drafting skills with an understanding of engineering design principles. Ability to produce detailed construction documentation accurately and efficiently. Experience in drafting various surveys is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Relevant technical training or certification in CAD drafting or engineering design is advantageous.
