Job Description
Computer Draftsman:
Cogbill Construction, in Vidor, TX, is looking for a Computer Draftsman to perform the following tasks: 1- Draw and design two-dimensional parts and components for engineering drawings and/or to be processed on our Plasma CNC table. 2
- Draw full ISO CAD drawing with AutoCAD. 3
- Assist our estimation department with material takeoffs. 4
- Go to customer jobsites and sketch structures, parts and components, and prepare and present reports on conditions, environments, dimensions, requirements, operations, etc. 5
- Help implement quality standards and document processes in all related activities
Requirements:
MUST RESIDE IN THE SOUTHEAST TEXAS REGION 2-8
years experience as Draftsman Possess associate degree in drafting from an accredited college or university Willingness to work in the fabrication shop as well as customer worksites Willingness to observe all safety rules, including shaving whenever required Knowledge of plate/structural/pipe blueprints and layouts Knowledge in the various aspects of structural design Pass drug and background checks. Must have valid driver license.Preferences:
