The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings, schematics, and detailed construction documentation using advanced CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software. This role plays a vital part in translating conceptual designs into accurate, buildable plans that adhere to building codes and project specifications. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in 3D modeling, BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools, and a comprehensive understanding of construction and engineering standards. Responsibilities Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings, schematics, and construction documentation using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks. Create accurate 3D models and visualizations utilizing tools like SketchUp, 3ds Max, Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, and 3D CAD modeling software. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to interpret design concepts into precise technical drawings. Ensure all drawings comply with relevant building codes, safety standards, and project specifications. Prepare construction details and documentation necessary for permitting and construction phases. Conduct building code analysis to verify compliance with local regulations. Assist in system design and graphic representations for interior design, mechanical systems, or structural components. Maintain organized CAD files and version control for seamless project management. Support the review process by verifying drawings against project requirements and making necessary revisions. Contribute to schematic development and assist in drafting engineering CAD designs for complex projects. Requirements Proven experience as a CAD Drafter or similar role within the architecture, engineering, or construction industries. Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Rhinoceros 3D, Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, Bluebeam, and 3ds Max. Strong knowledge of construction detail documentation and building code compliance standards. Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools for integrated project delivery. Ability to produce precise 2D drawings and detailed 3D models for diverse project types. Familiarity with system design principles across mechanical, electrical, or structural disciplines. Excellent attention to detail coupled with strong organizational skills. Effective communication skills for collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of graphic design principles applicable to technical presentations is a plus. Prior experience in interior design or mechanical design projects is advantageous.

QUALIFICATIONS
