Type:

full-time We are seeking a Mix Coating Process Engineer who will work closely with a team of scientists, research engineers, test engineers, program managers and lab technicians. Your work will be focused on the process design of our existing and upcoming processes. You will be an integral part of the cell design process, from start to finish -- working to scale-up new designs and formulations into production. You will be able to identify, test and evaluate new materials. The materials could include battery active materials, conductive additives, current collectors, solid-state electrolytes, etc.

Requirements:
  • A Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (or similar degree) is required.
  • We need someone with expertise in blending, particle dispersion, web coating, and roll-to-roll equipment.
  • We are searching for a Process Engineer that specializes in coating technology. This would include a working knowledge of web handling and roll to roll operations.
  • Highly-relevant experience may have been gained working for manufacturers of chemicals, paint, food/preservatives, etc.
  • Some knowledge in Electrochemistry is highly desired.
  • Design of experiments is highly desirable but not required.
  • VBA for programming is a plus
  • Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point will also be highly utilized.
  • All applicants must be US citizens or green card holders.
