Job Description

The Judge Group is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer for a manufacturing company located in the Starkville, MS area.

$100,000 - $120,000 Responsibilities Lead process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and production performance. Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, SHEQ, and R D teams to support plant objectives and strategic initiatives. Manage improvement and capital projects from concept through startup and implementation. Conduct process evaluations, engineering studies, and pilot trials to identify operational enhancements. Utilize process modeling and data analytics tools to evaluate system performance and support decision-making. Develop project plans, scopes of work, operating procedures, and change management documentation. Coordinate activities with contractors, vendors, and engineering partners on project execution. Support process safety efforts, commissioning activities, control system improvements, and process troubleshooting. Present project recommendations and progress updates to stakeholders and leadership teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Chemical Engineering strongly preferred. Experience within chemical processing, chlor-alkali, TiO₂ pigment production, or similar manufacturing environments preferred. Proven background leading process improvement or capital projects from planning through completion. Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and Management of Change (MOC) programs. Familiarity with process simulation, industrial control systems, and statistical analysis tools. Strong communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Valid driver's license required. Demonstrated commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement principles.
