Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to design, program, integrate, test, and commission industrial automation and control systems for custom machinery and process equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with PLC programming, HMI/SCADA, electrical controls, industrial networking, instrumentation, and commissioning . This role will work closely with engineering teams, vendors, and customers from initial design through equipment startup and support both new and retrofit projects. Key Responsibilities Design and develop complete industrial control systems. Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs . Develop
HMI/SCADA
applications and operator interfaces. Create I/O lists, electrical schematics, network architecture, and control documentation. Integrate VFDs, motors, sensors, instrumentation, safety devices, and third-party equipment. Configure industrial communication protocols such as EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, and OPC-UA . Support project planning, technical documentation, and equipment integration. Lead FAT, SAT, startup, and commissioning activities. Troubleshoot control systems and provide customer support. Support retrofit, modernization, and continuous improvement projects. Ensure systems meet applicable safety and electrical standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, Automation, Mechatronics, or related engineering field. Industrial automation or controls engineering experience. Experience with custom machinery, OEM equipment, or process manufacturing. Strong PLC, HMI/SCADA, electrical controls, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and create electrical schematics. Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.
Pay:
$110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
