As a Process Engineering Intern focused on Melt Process Engineering, you'll support the formulating, primary melting, and final melting of titanium, nickel, and specialty alloys—playing a direct role in how high-value materials are produced for high-performance products. You'll collaborate with experienced engineers and operators to improve throughput, reduce defects, and drive process efficiency on assets such as plasma cold hearth furnaces, vacuum arc remelt furnaces, and raw material control systems. What You'll Work On Internship projects may include: Supporting raw material barcoding functional requirements and related process improvements.
Assisting with Master Powder Blending BOSS formulation projects.
Participating in a Load Station table vibration study to support engineering and process improvement efforts.
Applying engineering knowledge to hands-on projects within the manufacturing environment.
Working with the engineering team to establish project goals, complete milestones, and provide meaningful project results. What You'll Gain Hands-on experience with engineering projects in a manufacturing environment.
Exposure to raw material processing, powder blending, and equipment/process studies.
Experience applying engineering principles to real-world plant projects.
Collaboration with plant leadership, engineering, and cross-functional teams.
