Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Process Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of production processes, maintaining high standards of quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will help optimize manufacturing workflows, troubleshoot complex issues, and uphold safety and compliance standards across the facility. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing solutions in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence. Essential Functions Accurately maintain and complete the Process Monitor sheet. Pull last shots upon shutdown. Complete Run Sheet and other tracking forms. Change date/day wheels. Must adhere to all safety and environmental policies. Evaluate equipment for proper operation, notify maintenance for work orders if needed. Verify quality standard using gages and measuring devices. Seek Continuous Improvement methods to improve efficiency, quality and reduction of scrap. Participate in one cost save initiative idea annually. Interact with Maintenance, Quality Control, Engineering and Tool room with Problem Solving issues to ensure production is not disrupted. Ensure proper working order and cleanliness of tools. Performs job changeovers per operating instructions Adhere to departmental budgetary allocations. Ensure proper Start up and shut downs of the Molding presses. Ability to start and shut down robots. Maintain good attendance and punctuality. Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s). Qualifications Proven experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment with a strong understanding of equipment and processes. Knowledge of programming, machining techniques, plastics injection molding Familiarity with electrical wiring, schematics, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and industrial robotics programming. Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on skills using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments. Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions effectively. Understanding of
ISO 9001
standards and experience with process engineering or continuous improvement methodologies like Lean Manufacturing. Pay:
$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
