Campbell, CA
Schedule:
Full-time, on-site
Pay range: $90,000-$120,000 per year
Xcel Staffing has partnered with a respected mechanical contractor specializing in commercial and industrial HVAC systems to find a Mechanical Project Engineer. The company provides installation, service, and energy-efficient solutions, with a focus on safety, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
About the role
We're looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to support commercial HVAC projects from planning through construction. You'll work closely with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to help coordinate project details and resolve issues as they arise.
What you'll do
Assist with HVAC project design and coordination.
Coordinate with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
Review submittals and maintain project documentation.
Help resolve technical issues during construction.
Support project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and applicable code requirements.
What we're looking for
Experience with commercial HVAC systems and mechanical building design.
Familiarity with MEP systems and commercial construction practices.
Proficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in mechanical contracting, commercial construction, or project engineering preferred.
Familiarity with building codes and industry standards is a plus.
A degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus, but not required; equivalent hands-on experience will be considered.
