Project Geotechnical Engineer Livermore, California Geocon is seeking a project-level engineer to manage geotechnical engineering and materials testing services on a wide variety of design and construction projects in the public and private sectors under the supervision and mentorship of a Principal Geotechnical Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in civil or geological engineering, licensure as a California Professional Engineer (PE) or Geotechnical Engineer (GE), and at least 5 years of applicable work experience. Flexibility to work on a range of diverse projects, attention to detail, positive attitude, willingness to learn, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a commitment to workplace health and safety are imperative. Responsibilities Geotechnical design and analysis activities for civil/infrastructure projects, including site investigations, soil/rock testing, and foundation design support. Manage project scope, schedule, and budget; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders; ensure quality control and compliance with permitting requirements. Prepare technical reports, memos, and documentation; communicate findings clearly to clients and team members. Conduct field exploration oversight, sampling, and data collection; supervise construction observation and material testing. Salary Range:
