Working with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, design teams, and clients, you will gain direct exposure to active projects from preconstruction through closeout. The position combines detailed office coordination with regular field experience and increasing responsibility as your knowledge and judgment develop. What You Will Do Manage RFI and submittal workflows, including preparation, logging, completeness reviews, routing, response tracking, and distribution of current information. Support material and equipment procurement by confirming requirements, tracking lead times, coordinating deliveries, and identifying potential schedule impacts. Support subcontractor management by tracking commitments, submittals, pricing, schedule needs, and follow-up items; increasingly coordinate assigned scopes under Project Manager guidance. Maintain organized project records, logs, meeting minutes, current drawings, specifications, and other contract documents. Assist with schedule updates, cost tracking, change-order documentation, billings, and monthly project reporting. Visit project sites to understand the work, verify progress, help resolve coordination issues, and support punch lists, warranties, as-builts, and project closeout. Who We Are Looking For The strongest candidate may know construction or may bring a proven skill set from another demanding professional environment. We are especially interested in someone who: Learns unfamiliar systems quickly and applies what they learn to the next problem. Organizes detailed information accurately and follows issues through to completion. Communicates clearly and professionally in writing, in meetings, and with field personnel. Thinks critically, exercises sound judgment, and knows when to ask questions. Manages competing priorities without losing track of deadlines or commitments. Takes ownership, accepts feedback, learns new technology, and works well with different personalities and roles. Helpful, but not required: commercial construction or project-administration experience, familiarity with construction-management software, or the ability to read plans and specifications. We welcome applicants who have demonstrated the qualities above in construction, education, operations, logistics, military service, or another demanding role. Your development will include:
On-the-job training and regular guidance from experienced Project Managers and Superintendents, with structured exposure to the full project lifecycle. Increasing ownership of coordination, documentation, cost, schedule, and field responsibilities as you demonstrate knowledge and sound judgment.
