Independent Contractor (1099) with potential to convert to full-time Position Overview Lithos Group Inc. is seeking a motivated Professional Licensed Civil Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Florida to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in project coordination, multidisciplinary collaboration, client communication, and overall support of land development and municipal engineering projects throughout Florida. This position is ideal for a candidate with strong technical knowledge, coordination skills, and experience managing project deliverables, consultants, agencies, and approval processes. Key Responsibilities Assist in the coordination and management of civil engineering projects from planning through construction. Coordinate with municipalities, regulatory agencies, utility authorities, architects, planners, and subconsultants. Support project managers in scheduling, budgeting, permitting, and client communications. Review and sign/stamp engineering drawings, reports, specifications, and technical submissions. Assist with development approvals, permitting applications, and agency comments resolution. Coordinate internal project teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables. Ensure designs and documentation comply with Florida standards, local regulations, and industry best practices. Qualifications Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Florida. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. Minimum 5 years of relevant civil engineering experience. Experience in land development, municipal infrastructure, stormwater management, grading, utilities, and permitting processes. Excellent communication, organizational, and coordination skills.
