Lino Lakes, MN Essential Functions:

Assist in residential and commercial projects Examine general plans, specifications, and cost estimates to ensure drawings match customer expectations Produce engineering calculations and designs for project submittals Checking production piece drawings for proper reinforcing, lifting, and stressing requirements Participate in continuous improvement efforts Develop skills within engineering software such as Concise, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, etc. RFI Document Drafting Non-compliant product review

Education and Experience:

A 3rd or 4th year civil engineering student, pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher Required coursework: Reinforced Concrete Design & Structural Analysis Preferred coursework: Structural Steel Design, Prestressed Concrete Design (or equivalent RCD 2), and Structural Systems GPA of 3.0 or higher is required Previous Internship experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Curiosity & Initiative Basic Structural Intuition & Math Aptitude Receptivity to Feedback and Iteration Project Management & Problem Solving Strong organizational skills Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

Pay & Benefits:

Pay for this position will be $25/hr depending on the experience and qualifications of the applicant.
