Job Description

Overview About Us Flowline Services LLC fabricates and installs process piping systems for industrial clients. We take projects from shop drawings through fabrication, field installation, and turnover. The Role The Project Engineer supports project managers and field/shop supervision by handling the technical, documentation, and coordination work behind each job: submittals, RFIs, material tracking, cost reporting, and quality records. Full-time. Responsibilities Review contract documents, P&IDs, isometrics, and specifications to identify scope, requirements, and risks Prepare and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and transmittals Coordinate material takeoffs, procurement, expediting, and delivery with vendors and the shop Track project schedules, budgets, and productivity; support monthly billing and cost reports Work with fabrication and field crews to resolve drawing, spool, and constructability issues Maintain weld logs, welder qualifications, WPS/PQR documentation, and NDE records Assemble quality documentation, hydrotest packages, and turnover/closeout binders Support safety programs, including job hazard analyses and site compliance Attend client and internal meetings and record action items Qualifications Bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, industrial, or construction engineering (or equivalent experience) 1-3 years in mechanical contracting, piping fabrication, or industrial construction preferred; recent graduates with relevant internships will be considered Ability to read isometrics, P&IDs, and piping specifications Familiarity with ASME B31.3, welding codes (AWS/ASME Section IX), and common piping materials (carbon steel, stainless, alloy) Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools is a plus Strong organization, communication, and follow-through Preferred Experience with spool tracking or fabrication management software Exposure to NDE, pressure testing, and PMI procedures

certification Working Conditions Mix of office, fabrication shop, and job-site work. Occasional travel to project sites. Must be able to wear PPE and walk active construction areas. Pay:
$61,000.00 - $76,000.00 per year
