On-Site Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Municipal Engineer for its Mount Holly, New Jersey office. The role focuses on the design, development, and oversight of municipal infrastructure projects. Candidates should bring at least 3 years of civil or municipal engineering experience, hands-on design capability, and experience supporting projects from design through construction. An active Professional Engineer license is required.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
- 3+ years of civil or municipal engineering experience with hands-on municipal infrastructure design.
- Experience with roadway, drainage, utility, or similar public infrastructure projects and preparation of plans, specifications, and calculations.
- Ability to work in person in Mount Holly, New Jersey and manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, Revit, Bluebeam, Mathcad, engineering calculations, and construction documentation is valuable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design municipal infrastructure projects including roads, drainage systems, utilities, and related public improvements.
- Prepare engineering plans, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation; support permitting and regulatory submissions.
- Support projects from planning and design through construction, including technical workstreams, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery.
- Provide construction support by reviewing shop drawings, contractor questions, field conditions, RFIs, and construction documentation.
- Coordinate with municipal clients, public agencies, consultants, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
