We are seeking a Structural Engineer with 5 years of experience in residential, commercial, and coastal structural design. What You'll Need to

Succeed:

EIT Certification required ; NJ Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred. 5 years of hands-on structural design experience (wood, steel, concrete, masonry, and pile/foundation systems). Proficiency in structural modeling and design software (StruCalc, RAM or similar) and AutoCAD. Strong knowledge of coastal structural engineering principles (ASCE 7 wind/flood loads, IBC/IRC codes). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and local planning/zoning boards.

Civil & Structural Engineering Responsibilities:

Perform structural analysis and design for residential additions, new custom homes, commercial buildings, and coastal structures. Prepare complete, clear, and accurate structural engineering plan sets, calculations, and detail sheets. Review architectural plans and coordinate structural framing and foundation layouts with project teams. Conduct structural site inspections, condition assessments, and construction administration services. Research municipal code requirements, flood zone regulations, and building codes to ensure structural compliance. Communicate directly with clients, architects, builders, and municipal officials.

Experience & Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Required). 5 years of structural design experience (Required). Proficiency in structural design software and Auto
