Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented licensed civil Engineer to join our innovative team dedicated to designing, managing, and overseeing civil infrastructure projects. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in planning, developing, and executing projects that enhance community systems such as stormwater management, water and wastewater treatment, and transportation networks. Your expertise will drive project success from conception through construction completion, ensuring compliance with all technical standards and client specifications. Responsibilities Lead and manage civil engineering projects, including planning, design, and construction phases, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets. Develop detailed technical engineering reports, schematics, and design documents using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and Land Desktop. Perform hydrological modeling and stormwater system design utilizing hydrologic analysis tools like SWMM and HEC software to optimize water flow and drainage solutions. Conduct site inspections during construction to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and project specifications are met. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies during the permitting phase to secure necessary approvals and ensure project compliance. Utilize GIS platforms such as ArcGIS and GIS-based tools for land surveying, geotechnical analysis, and spatial data management. Oversee project scheduling using project management tools; coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery of engineering solutions. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; PE (Professional Engineer) license preferred but not mandatory. Proven experience managing civil infrastructure projects with a strong focus on stormwater management, hydraulics, geotechnical engineering, or water/wastewater systems. Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation; experience with technical drafting and schematics development. Familiarity with hydrological modeling tools such as SWMM and HEC software; experience performing hydrologic analysis is highly desirable. Knowledge of construction management practices including project scheduling, construction inspection, estimating, and site supervision. Strong technical writing skills for generating reports and documentation; excellent client communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Experience with permitting processes involving local agencies; understanding of civil system design standards is essential. $74,068.72 - $89,201.04 per year
