On-SitePosition OverviewThe Civil Sales Engineer will support the overall design and technical sales effort for a broad range of products, including precast concrete products, waterworks supplies, pipe, castings, geotextiles, and related construction materials.

This role will provide technical and sales support to customers throughout the Tri-State area, including contractors, municipalities, industry, and homeowners. The position combines estimating, project take-offs, CAD drafting, technical documentation, and customer interaction.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform estimating and project quantity take-offsProvide sales and technical support to customers
Prepare:
ProposalsPurchase ordersSubmittal documentsOther technical sales documentationPrepare CAD drawings for precast concrete productsRead and interpret construction drawings and specificationsCommunicate regularly with:

ContractorsConsulting engineersGovernment entitiesPublic agenciesCustomersInternal teamsObtain approval for submittal drawingsSupport sales, engineering, production, and product development activitiesCoordinate technical requirements and documentation throughout the sales processMaintain accurate and organized project recordsManage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlinesRequired QualificationsProficiency with AutoCAD requiredProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite requiredAbility to read and interpret construction drawings requiredStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to multitask and manage multiple projectsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to communicate professionally with engineers, contractors, public agencies, customers, and internal teamsPreferred QualificationsBS in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field preferredConstruction experience preferredPrecast concrete design experience preferredExperience with Adobe Pro preferredExperience with estimating, project take-offs, or technical sales preferredCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation based on experience and qualificationsBenefits package available
