Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team and drive the successful execution of public projects portfolio. In this role, you will oversee project planning, coordination, and management across various phases, ensuring that projects meet quality standards, deadlines, and budget expectations. Your expertise in construction management, technical engineering, and project scheduling will be essential to delivering innovative solutions in all aspects of our vertical construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to bring complex projects to life with precision and efficiency. Duties Work alongside our Project Manager to develop comprehensive project schedules utilizing project management tools to ensure timely completion of all phases from design through construction. Prepare and review technical engineering reports, schematics, and design documents using AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other CAD software. Manage the permitting phase by coordinating with regulatory agencies and ensuring compliance with local codes and standards. Oversee construction activities including site inspections, quality assurance, and safety protocols to ensure adherence to project specifications. Conduct hydrological modeling and hydraulic analysis using tools such as SWMM, HEC-RAS, Mathcad, Hydrologic analysis tools, and GIS platforms like ArcGIS for stormwater systems design. Collaborate with clients to communicate project progress, technical solutions, and address any concerns promptly. Lead multidisciplinary teams in design engineering efforts for civil infrastructure projects involving pipelines, stormwater management systems, water treatment facilities, and geotechnical considerations. Manage project documentation including technical reports, drawings, schematics, and progress reports to maintain clear records throughout the project lifecycle. Experience Proven experience managing civil infrastructure projects from conception through construction with a focus on water systems or stormwater management. Strong background in construction management principles combined with hands-on construction inspection experience. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit for drafting and design purposes. Familiarity with hydrological modeling tools like SWMM or HEC-RAS for system analysis and design. Experience working with permitting agencies during the permitting phase of civil projects. Demonstrated ability to lead project teams effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles related to civil infrastructure projects including land surveying techniques. Excellent technical writing skills for generating detailed engineering reports and documentation. Strong client communication skills complemented by experience managing stakeholder expectations throughout project delivery. Have more then 5 years of experience.
