JLL is seeking a highly skilled Operating Engineer to join our Engineering & Maintenance team. This role is critical in ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of building systems and equipment across our commercial properties. The Operating Engineer will work closely with the facility management team to implement standard maintenance procedures and enhance the overall efficiency and safety of our real estate assets. Responsibilities Operate and maintain critical and non-critical building support systems. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance services on electrical, mechanical, HVAC systems and other building equipment to ensure optimal performance. Respond to service requests and emergencies in a timely manner, providing solutions to complex technical issues. Implement and document maintenance strategies and record details in maintenance management systems. Collaborate with facility managers and other team members to comply with all safety regulations and building codes. Assist in the training of new staff and provide guidance in best practices of building operations. Required Skills Proficient in the operation of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Knowledge of building automation systems and energy management. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
