This position requires managing project schedules, budgets, and interface with multi-discipline teams of architects and engineers. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to oversee project design, planning, and execution across a variety of sectors including stormwater management, water and wastewater treatment, geotechnical engineering, and land development. The ideal candidate will bring leadership skills, a strong technical background, exceptional project management skills, and a passion for innovative engineering solutions. As a key team leader, you will collaborate with clients, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure projects meet all quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget Manage project scheduling using industry-standard tools to optimize resource allocation and meet deadlines Develop detailed construction estimates and assist in construction management activities including site inspections and quality assurance Prepare technical engineering reports, schematics, and design documentation utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and other CAD software Conduct hydrological modeling and stormwater system design using hydrologic analysis tools like SWMM and HEC software suites Oversee permitting phases by preparing necessary documentation and coordinating with regulatory agencies to secure approvals Utilize GIS platforms such as ArcGIS for spatial analysis and project mapping; incorporate geotechnical data into system designs Lead construction inspection efforts to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards Collaborate closely with clients to communicate project progress, technical findings, and address any concerns effectively Manage multidisciplinary teams through project engineering responsibilities while fostering a collaborative work environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; PE license required; advanced certifications in project management or specialized engineering areas are a plus Proven experience managing civil infrastructure projects with a focus on stormwater management, water/wastewater treatment systems, or land development Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, Mathcad, HEC software (Hydrologic Engineering Center), GIS (ArcGIS), Bluebeam for document review, and construction estimating tools Demonstrated ability to lead project scheduling efforts using industry-standard software; experience with project management methodologies is essential Extensive knowledge of construction management practices including site inspections and safety protocols Familiarity with permitting processes across local/state agencies; experience managing the permitting phase is highly desirable Excellent technical writing skills for preparing reports and documentation; ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to clients and team members Strong background in hydrological modeling, geotechnical engineering principles, hydraulics systems design, and stormwater system implementation Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail; proven leadership in team environments Join us as we build innovative civil infrastructure solutions that shape communities!
