October 26, 2026 Position Summary Brooksource Engineering Services is seeking a Building Management System (BMS) Engineer to support the startup of a new Parenteral Device Manufacturing facility in Lehigh Valley, PA. This consultant will provide technical leadership for BMS architecture, controls integration, commissioning support, vendor management, and operational readiness activities. Key Responsibilities Review and approve BMS architecture, network topology, controls designs, and integration strategies. Evaluate points lists, graphics, alarm management, trending, and sequence of operations. Provide oversight of Johnson Controls, Rockwell Automation, and system integration partners. Review vendor drawings, software configurations, and control panel designs. Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, startup, and qualification activities. Troubleshoot control system and integration issues identified during startup. Drive technical resolution of RFIs, deficiencies, deviations, and design changes. Support turnover, maintenance readiness, and lifecycle management planning. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, or Automation Engineering. 7+ years of experience supporting BMS, BAS, controls, or automation systems. Strong understanding of HVAC controls, industrial networking, and integrated facility systems. Experience supporting commissioning and qualification in regulated environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Johnson Controls Metasys. Experience with Rockwell Automation platforms. Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device manufacturing experience. Greenfield startup project experience.
