Job Description

A growing structural steel company in Pearland, TX is hiring a licensed Project Engineer to run their own projects start to finish and stamp calculations and drawings. This is the senior engineer seat on the team, with a junior engineer working toward his PE to mentor. Position Details Full-time, in-office Monday-Friday $100K-$130K starting range, negotiable for the right person

Gpac (confidential) What You'll Do Own structural steel design projects from kickoff through final drawings Prepare, check and stamp calculations and drawings Work on commercial and industrial projects Coordinate with detailing, fabrication and project management Mentor a junior engineer What You Bring BS in Civil or Structural Engineering Active Texas PE license (required); other state licenses a plus About 10 years of experience focused on structural/steel design (not heavy civil roads, drainage or transportation) Proven ability to manage projects independently Why Apply $100K-$130K starting range, negotiable for the right person Ownership of your own projects A team to lead
