As the Civil Engineer , you will: perform general engineering work involved in the review of capital improvement and development engineering and construction projects to ensure compliance with City standards. Professional Engineer License preferred. If P.E. license is not from the State of Texas, selected candidate must obtain Texas Registered Professional Engineer license within six (6) months from the date of employment. Applicants with an engineer-in-training certificate with five (5) years of relevant experience may be considered with the requirement of obtaining P.E. license within one (1) year from the date of employment. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background investigation and MVR check. Must possess valid class C driver's license.
