Job Description
Role and Responsibilities Work as an onsite PCIS Engineer (Controls and Instrumentation Engineer) in a process plant environment based in Inwood, WV. Deliver designs and engineering packages related to power and instrumentation installation for industrial plants. Define the scope of work in discussion with the customer, coordinate with the offshore team, and deliver engineering deliverables. Coordinate with the customer to collect all required inputs to complete the engineering design. Coordinate with vendors and construction teams to obtain the required information for completing the design. Attend design reviews with the customer and construction team and obtain the necessary approvals. Support construction and startup activities. Lead electrical startup of all process and packaging equipment. Skills Required Experience working as an Instrumentation and Control Design Engineer developing engineering design packages for industrial plants. Knowledge of specifying process plant instruments and hands-on experience in instrumentation selection. Experience in the selection and design of controls and hardware for control and monitoring of process plant instrumentation. Instrumentation experience, including setup, calibration verification, and adjustments.
