Fusco Platt Landscape Architecture is seeking a Landscape Architectural Drafter to support our Principal Landscape Architect (LA) and design team in producing accurate, well-organized landscape plans for custom residential projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented drafter who enjoys translating design direction into clean, buildable documentation and offers hands-on exposure to residential landscape design within a collegial, mentorship-oriented environment.

Responsibilities will include:

Prepare and update detailed landscape plans, details, diagrams, and presentation graphics using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Adobe, LandFX, ArcGIS, and other CAD software. Draft planting plans, hardscape details, and grading/drainage plans from sketches, redlines, and design intent provided by senior staff. Assist in assembling submittal packages for permitting and architectural review. Translate hand sketches and markups into accurate, presentation-ready digital drawings. Support production of material palettes and presentation graphics. Assist with site visits and field measurements to document existing conditions, as needed. Track drawing revisions and maintain organized, up-to-date project files. Coordinate with internal team members to ensure drawings reflect the latest design updates. Coordinate with the Architectural Drafter to create 3D models for client presentations. Assist with basic construction support tasks (drawing redlines, shop drawing markups).

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and/or certification program in architectural drafting or related field 1-3 years of CAD drafting experience with landscape or civil experience. Strong competency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred); familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, ArcGIS, and LandFX. Accurate, detail-oriented drafting skills with strong technical documentation habits. Good organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to take direction well and translate sketches or redlines into finished, accurate drawings.
