+ Blake is seeking a motivated Junior Architectural Designer to join our team. This is an opportunity for an emerging designer with 0-2 years of experience to contribute to a variety of architectural projects while developing their technical and design skills alongside experienced professionals. The ideal candidate has a strong design sensibility, familiarity with Revit and 3D modeling, an interest in visualization, and a willingness to learn and explore emerging technologies and AI-driven workflows.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of architectural design using a combination of 3D modeling and hand drawing. Produce high-quality renderings, 3D fly-throughs, and client presentations. Assist with project documentation and construction drawings under the guidance of senior staff. Research and explore emerging software, technologies, and AI workflows to help improve the firm's design and production processes. Continue developing technical, design, and visualization skills through hands-on project experience.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Revit and the ability to navigate and work within BIM models in a 3D environment; proficiency a plus. Ability to use 3D modeling to explore and develop design options; familiarity with additional software such as SketchUp or Rhino is a plus. Experience producing high-quality architectural renderings using programs such as Lumion, Enscape, or similar software. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Photoshop or comparable image-editing software. Ability to explore and communicate design ideas through hand sketching, with a strong understanding of perspective. Strong graphic and presentation skills, with a thoughtful approach to visual composition. Strong design sensibility. Willingness to learn, adapt and implement new technologies. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently when possible and seek guidance when needed. Qualified candidates, please include portfolio and resume with your application.
