Description Woodhouse, The Timber Frame Company, is a national leader in the timber frame industry and has designed and built some of the most spectacular, energy-efficient homes anywhere. Woodhouse has an immediate full-time opening for an individual with AutoCAD and 3D modeling skills. Experience and ability to interface with clients, architects, contractors and other designers are also required. This is an entry level position; salary higher with experience. We are looking for the right candidate who would enjoy working with our close-knit team in Tioga County, PA (Close to the NY Border).
Qualifications:
AutoCAD Architecture 2022 or later version
3D Modeling in AutoCAD including Architectural objects
SketchUp experience
Knowledge of Construction Materials and Methods
Design and aesthetic capability
Solid Organizational Skills
Thoroughness and attention to detail
Self-motivated and work independently
Responsibilities:
Develop schematic level CAD plans and elevations with direction from our Architect and Regional Project Manager
Produce Construction Documents in AutoCAD
3D modeling, SketchUp rendering
Check and coordinate shop drawings from suppliers
