Hutch Design is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented CAD Detailer / Drafter to join our team in Pendleton, South Carolina. We specialize in luxury architectural metalwork, including custom staircases, railings, gates, vent hoods, structural steel, and other high-end custom fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will have strong AutoCAD and SolidWorks skills, the ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings, and a willingness to work closely with our fabrication and project management teams. Experience with SolidWorks is preferred. This position requires more than sitting behind a computer. Candidates must be local to the Pendleton/Anderson area and prepared to visit job sites regularly to take accurate field measurements, verify existing conditions, and coordinate with contractors and project managers. You will be responsible for producing precise, fabrication-ready drawings and ensuring that designs can be successfully translated from concept to installation. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to grow with our company. Previous field measuring experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn and take initiative is essential. This position offers the opportunity to work on unique, high-end architectural projects while developing your skills and advancing from CAD Detailer to independent Drafter. This is a 100% on-site position based in Pendleton, SC. Remote work and work-from-home arrangements are not available. Applicants must live locally and be willing and able to travel to job sites as needed.
