About the Role As a Senior Industrial Maintenance Specialist, you will serve as a key technical expert responsible for ensuring the peak performance and reliability of our facility infrastructure and production machinery. You will leverage your expertise in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and drive operational efficiency across the plant. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve complex equipment failures, utilizing advanced PLC troubleshooting and diagnostic tools to restore functionality. Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of critical assets and reduce unplanned outages. Collaborate with engineering teams and external partners to implement process improvements and resolve technical bottlenecks. Fabricate and modify custom tools, fixtures, and machine guards to enhance safety and production output. Mentor junior staff by providing technical guidance, assigning tasks, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Manage documentation for repairs and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Required Skills Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, specifically with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Proficiency in reading technical schematics and utilizing PLC software for troubleshooting. Demonstrated ability to lead small teams or mentor peers in a technical environment. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills Experience with robotics and automated assembly systems. Advanced knowledge of machining operations, including lathe and mill work. Formal training or certification in industrial electronics or mechatronics. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
