In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing a wide range of household appliances with precision and professionalism. Duties Diagnose appliance issues accurately using schematics, electrical diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques. Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers utilizing hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Install new appliances ensuring proper electrical, plumbing, and mechanical connections in accordance with safety standards. Utilize ladder use and other equipment to access hard-to-reach areas during repairs or installations. Troubleshoot refrigeration systems and mechanical components to identify root causes of malfunctions. Have reliable transportation to transport tools and parts to customer locations. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout every interaction. Qualifications Proven experience as an appliance repair technician or in a similar field service role with a strong background in appliance repair and installation. Proficiency in reading schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and ladder logic for troubleshooting complex systems. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and equipment repair techniques. Familiarity with refrigeration systems, plumbing connections, electrical work, and assembly procedures related to appliances. Reliable transportation Experience operating equipment such as box trucks or service vans safely within company policies. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Knowledge of maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) practices to ensure efficient workflow. Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues using electrical experience and technical expertise. Experience with appliance installation including electrical wiring, plumbing connections, and mechanical assembly.
