Electrician / PLC Technician Two Rivers Premium Oils Two Rivers Premium Oils is seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician / PLC Technician to support our industrial maintenance and automation systems. This position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, industrial machinery, and PLC-controlled equipment. We are looking for someone with strong electrical troubleshooting skills, hands-on PLC experience, and the ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment. What You'll Do Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and control systems. Diagnose electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, meters, and other testing equipment. Troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery, including inputs, outputs, sensors, relays, and control circuits. Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLC logic as needed. Work with PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar systems. Troubleshoot motors, VFDs, starters, contactors, relays, photo eyes, proximity sensors, and safety circuits. Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and automated equipment. Assist with equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and upgrades. Troubleshoot control panels, HMIs, industrial networks, and automation systems. Work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, and Production teams to minimize equipment downtime. Document maintenance activities, repairs, equipment issues, and corrective actions. Follow
OSHA, NFPA
70E, lockout/tagout, and company electrical safety procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required. Technical training, electrical certification, or related education preferred. 2+ years of industrial electrical, automation, or maintenance experience preferred. Experience troubleshooting PLCs and automated manufacturing equipment. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and ladder logic. Working knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and control circuits. Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Ability to safely use electrical testing equipment, including multimeters and clamp meters. Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team. Dependable attendance and willingness to work the assigned schedule. Ability to work overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts when needed. Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Allen-Bradley PLCs Siemens PLCs PLC programming and ladder logic HMI troubleshooting VFD setup and troubleshooting Industrial Ethernet and network troubleshooting Electrical panel wiring Preventive and predictive maintenance NFPA 70E and OSHA electrical safety practices Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in an industrial environment. Ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, and materials as required. Ability to work around operating machinery and electrical equipment.
