In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end installation of pathway systems, microduct jetting, fusion splicing, certification testing, and troubleshooting of high-density fiber optic networks across the property. You will play a vital role in ensuring robust, high-speed connectivity for the property's advanced infrastructure. Duties

Pathway Installation:

Install, route, and secure pathway systems including TubeCell microduct and basket tray.

•

Microduct Jetting & Air-Assisted Installation:

Operate pneumatic microduct jetting equipment to blow, push, and install micro-cables and air-blown fiber units safely and efficiently through pathways.

•

Installation & Splicing:

Perform precision fusion splicing, termination, and management of single-mode and multi-mode fiber optic cables across various construction zones within the project.

Testing & Certification:

Utilize advanced testing equipment—such as Fluke Versiv Cable Analyzers and OTDR modules to test fiber links, perform launch cord compensation, measure optical return loss, and generate formal compliance documentation.

Infrastructure Routing:

Properly route, secure, and manage cable pathways through telecommunications rooms, conduit paths, and cable trays according to strict commercial building standards.

•

Documentation & Labeling:

Implement compliant labeling systems (such as Panduit solutions) and maintain accurate as-built logs, splice matrices, and daily progress records.

Safety & Site Compliance:

Adhere strictly to OSHA standards, site-specific safety protocols, and coordination requirements for active large-scale construction environments.. Experience

OSHA Certification:

Must possess a valid OSHA 10 certification prior to starting on site.

•

Transportation & License:

Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable personal transportation to commute to the job site.

•

Experience:

Minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on commercial low-voltage or telecommunications experience, specifically with pathway/TubeCell installation, fiber optic splicing, microduct jetting, and certification.

•

Technical Proficiency:

Demonstrated experience operating pneumatic fiber blowing machines, commercial fusion splicers, OTDRs, power meters, and fiber prep tools.

•

Commercial Project Experience:

Familiarity with reading construction drawings, blueprints, and telecom layouts in large-scale commercial or hospitality environments.

•

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, work in varying construction site conditions, and navigate multi-level job sites safely.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant industry certifications (e.g., FOA CFOT) or specialized trade training preferred.
