View More Jobs Engineering Support Specialist II Queen Creek, AZ, United States Be the First to Apply Job Description You will play a significant role among a group of engineers and technicians in the development and certification of a turbofan engines and power systems products. Our overarching mission is to ensure that our customers obtain the data they need the first time. We develop, own and maintain the facilities and test processes that enable the development, certification and long-term support of the entirety of the E&PS product families. Key Responsibilities Lead the staging, preparation and execution of turbofan testing and fire testing at our San Tan Test Facility. Mentoring and coaching early career technicians on our standard practices and procedures. Leading / supporting workflow planning activities for the site. Engaged in site / process improvement - transformation initiatives. Provides constructive feedback on test plans and test approaches. Models Safety, HOS, Behaviors and Continuous Improvement. Applies knowledge of complex mechanical products test methods to learn engine models and facility systems and test equipment. Leads team in establishing solutions to meet requirements for innovative test solutions for new and existing products.

YOU MUST HAVE
High School Diploma or GED 10+ years of directly related experience as a Turbine Engine Test or Assembly Technician The ability to work in a lab environment, occasionally lifting (up to 35 lb.) and working with large mechanical test equipment and systems including powered industrial vehicles The ability to work off-shift occasionally (once sufficiently trained) The ability to work outdoors The ability to work occasional overtime The ability to travel occasionally (
