uBreakiFix by Asurion Full-Time | Field-Based Position Are you good with technology, comfortable working independently, and interested in repairing smartphones while working in the field? uBreakiFix by Asurion is hiring a Mobile Electronics Repair Technician (Remote Tech) to perform smartphone repairs at customer locations. This is a hands-on position for someone who can provide great customer service while following detailed repair, inspection, and quality-control procedures. What You'll Do Travel to scheduled customer appointments and perform mobile device repairs. Diagnose and repair smartphones, including screen-related issues and malfunctions . Complete required pre-repair inspections before beginning each repair. Inspect devices for battery swelling or damage, physical damage, liquid damage, and other conditions that may affect repair eligibility. Verify device information and required repair conditions through the Asurion Field app . Follow Samsung and iPhone repair/triage work instructions. Perform complete post-repair testing before leaving the customer. Test microphones, speakers, cameras, buttons, cellular connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and other required functions. Confirm that repairs are successfully completed and properly documented. Follow uBreakiFix/Asurion procedures and quality standards on every job. Maintain tools, equipment, parts, and assigned work area/vehicle. Communicate professionally with customers throughout the appointment. What We're Looking For Previous electronics or smartphone repair experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with strong technical ability and a willingness to learn.

You should be:

Comfortable working independently in the field. Detail-oriented and able to follow step-by-step procedures. Comfortable using mobile apps and repair software. Mechanically/technically inclined. Reliable and punctual. Professional when working directly with customers. Able to manage multiple scheduled appointments throughout the day. Comfortable being held accountable for repair quality and proper documentation. What Success Looks Like This isn't about rushing through as many repairs as possible. A successful Remote Technician completes repairs correctly, safely, and thoroughly . Every device must be properly inspected before the repair and completely tested afterward. Technicians are expected to use available repair resources and work instructions whenever needed rather than guessing. Why Join Us?
