Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled E & I Technician to join our dynamic industrial maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems across our manufacturing facilities. Your expertise will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety compliance, and continuous production flow. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and calibration of electrical and instrumentation equipment to ensure reliable operation. Troubleshoot complex electrical systems, including industrial controls, sensors, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and distributed control systems (DCS). Read and interpret electrical schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), schematics, and blueprints to diagnose issues accurately. Repair and replace electrical components such as sensors, relays, motors, valves, and pneumatic systems. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools like voltmeters, ohmmeters, Calypso software, and precision measuring instruments to identify faults swiftly. Implement electrical safety procedures during maintenance activities to uphold safety standards. Collaborate with engineering teams on projects involving automation programming, calibration, system upgrades, and troubleshooting of industrial controls. Skills Extensive knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and mechanical principles relevant to industrial equipment. Proven experience as an industrial electrician or E & I technician with strong electrical troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, P&IDs, and schematics for accurate diagnostics. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial automation systems, sensors, vision inspection systems, and low voltage electrical systems. Ability to troubleshoot equipment using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, sensors, and vision inspection systems efficiently. Strong understanding of calibration processes for instruments and control devices within an industrial setting. Experience with engineering troubleshooting methods related to electrical instrumentation and control systems. Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and compliance standards to maintain a safe working environment. Ability to program in engineering environments using software like Calypso or similar platforms. Excellent customer service skills when collaborating with team members or supporting internal clients on technical issues.
