Job Description
Calibration Technician Summary The Calibration Technician is responsible for ensuring that instruments and equipment are accurately calibrated and maintained to the highest standards. The Technician will use specific testing and measuring devices to ensure that items are calibrated correctly and are in compliance with industry standards. The Technician will also be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. Other duties include conducting research and development on new calibration techniques if required. The ideal candidate will have similar experience and excellent technical skills. Calibration Technician Duties Perform precision calibration torque and pressure measurement instruments Maintain calibration records and results in a timely manner Troubleshoot and repair equipment to ensure proper calibration Liaise with other technicians to ensure proper calibration of instruments Perform other duties as assigned Prepares complete and timely documentation, including updating work order status, as required Must be capable of frequently lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
