Job Overview We are seeking a professional, personable, and motivated Aesthetics Laser Technician & Front Desk Support team member to join our aesthetics practice. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with clients, has a passion for skincare and aesthetics, and can confidently balance hands-on treatments with providing an exceptional front-desk experience. The Laser Technician will perform aesthetic laser and skincare treatments while maintaining a warm, welcoming, and professional environment for every client. When treatment responsibilities are not required, this role will also support front-desk operations, including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, assisting with client questions, maintaining a clean and organized reception area, and supporting the overall flow of the practice. Responsibilities Perform aesthetic laser and skincare treatments in accordance with training, established protocols, and applicable regulations. Conduct client consultations and review treatment plans, expectations, and pre- and post-care instructions. Provide a comfortable, professional, and personalized client experience. Maintain accurate treatment and client records. Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures. Educate clients on treatments, skincare routines, and recommended home care products. Build strong client relationships and contribute to client retention and satisfaction. Greet clients warmly and provide an elevated front-desk experience. Answer phones, respond to inquiries, schedule and confirm appointments, and assist with check-in/check-out. Maintain accurate appointment information and assist with managing the daily schedule. Process payments and assist with retail/product sales when applicable. Keep treatment rooms, reception areas, and common spaces clean, stocked, and organized. Support the team with daily administrative and operational tasks. Represent the practice with professionalism, positivity, discretion, and a strong attention to detail. Experience Experience working in a medical spa. Current laser technician certification. Minimum 3 years of experience. Familiarity with salon management software such as PatientNow or similar platforms. Hands-on experience using BBL/IPL lasers as well as CO2 lasers. Knowledge of sanitation procedures specific to laser equipment and skincare practices. Strong understanding of skin types, laser safety, and treatment protocols. Experience in patient consultations, treatment conversions, or retail sales preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards. Strong phone presence and polished written communication. Proactive, accountable, and able to follow through without constant reminders.
