$30.00-$34.50/hour We are partnering with a confidential client to identify an Electronics Technician to join their Engineering group. Our client is looking for a talented technician that is capable of achieving high quality and high productivity outcomes in a fast-paced and dynamic environment under limited supervision. Position is located in Pueblo, CO. Summary of role The Electronics Technician will apply electronic theory, principles of electrical circuits, electrical testing procedures, engineering mathematics, physics, computer programming and related knowledge to design, layout, build, test, troubleshoot, calibrate, repair and modify electronics. This position requires the candidate to be able to install programming for equipment; install circuitry; repair field parts, hardware, and peripherals; provide user support for various machines; and resolve network connection and application software problems. Fundamental duties of role
Assemble, wire, and test electronic circuit boards and systems using hand tools, surface mount technology, and diagnostic tools.
Interpret and work from electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
Troubleshoot electronic system failures by analyzing circuit boards, electrical wiring, and electro-mechanical components to identify issues efficiently.
Work with high-power, high-voltage AC and DC circuits and controllers.
Program and modify PLCs, Steper Motors, Servo Drives, and VFDs.
Conduct functional testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of assemblies.
Identify and resolve assembly issues; provide feedback for design and process improvements.
Support prototype builds and transition to production ready.
Solder components in accordance with quality requirements. Summary of Qualifications
5 or more years of work experience work in a similar role with 3 or more years of experience in programming/program testing (control board)
Strong understanding of electrical systems and wiring standards
Able to read and interpret electrical schematics & blueprints
Proficient in electrical board soldering
Proficient in troubleshooting electronic systems
Proficient with PLCs, steper motors, servo drives, VFD's
Basic understanding of AC and DC circuits, motors and controllers (up to 480V)
Competent in CE & UL regulations
Familiar with BOMs
