ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced, safety-first laser professional to deliver flawless laser and light-based treatments in a premium medical setting. You will work directly under Dr. Gitelmaker's supervision, with modern devices, a calm schedule, and patients who value expertise, and you will help build long-term treatment plans.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform laser and light-based hair removal on all skin types (Fitzpatrick I-VI) using the practice's FDA-cleared devices
• Complete pre-treatment assessments, test spots, consents, contraindication screening, and settings documentation in the EMR
• Follow the written electrologist-physician protocols and escalate any adverse event or flagged condition to the supervising physician right away
• Maintain device logs, laser safety (eyewear, controlled area), infection control, and sterilization standards
• Educate patients on pre
• and post-care, recommend multi-session packages, and rebook every patient
• Partner with the Patient Experience Coordinator on packages and memberships

• Active Florida Electrologist license, qualified for laser and light-based hair removal under Florida Rule 64B8-56.

EITHER:

(a) the council-approved 320-hour combined electrolysis/laser/IPL program and the Florida IBEC Electrology, Laser & IPL exam, OR (b) epilation training plus the 30-hour council-approved laser/light-based hair removal course AND Certified Medical Electrologist (CME) certification

• Documented training on the specific devices you will use (Florida permits electrologists to use only devices they are trained on)
• Willing to sign jointly written protocols with the supervising physician and complete semiannual training in infection control, sterilization, and emergency procedures
• 2+ years of hands-on laser hair removal experience, including darker skin types

an esthetician license or a private "laser certificate" alone does not qualify for laser hair removal in Florida

NICE-TO-HAVES

• Florida esthetician license (facials, peels, and skincare within esthetic scope)
• Experience with diode,

Alexandrite, and Nd:

YAG platforms (e.g., Candela GentleMax Pro, Alma Soprano, Lumenis Splendor X, Cutera, or similar)

• Laser safety officer training
• Russian language (a plus, not required)
• Luxury or concierge med spa experience with strong rebooking and package results
