Job Description

Arcade Route Technician Power Play Entertainment Group - Central Florida Power Play Entertainment Group is seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Arcade Route Technician to service and maintain arcade equipment at our hotel, resort, and entertainment locations throughout Central Florida. We are a family-owned and operated amusement company with more than 40 years of experience in the arcade and entertainment industry. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and solving problems in the field. What You'll Do Travel between assigned customer locations throughout Central Florida Inspect, test, clean, and maintain arcade equipment Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues Respond to service calls and equipment breakdowns Replace switches, buttons, sensors, power supplies, wiring, lighting, and other game components Use a digital multimeter and basic diagnostic equipment Read basic wiring diagrams and schematics Restock redemption games and prize equipment Monitor and report needed parts, supplies, and inventory Keep arcade rooms clean, organized, and operating properly Communicate with hotel/resort staff regarding service issues Maintain accurate communication with management regarding repairs and outstanding problems Assist with game installations, equipment moves, and special projects What We're Looking For Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability Basic knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems Experience using a digital multimeter Comfortable using hand tools and basic power tools Strong problem-solving skills Dependable and able to work independently Professional communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift up to approximately 50 lbs. Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and work around arcade equipment Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Experience Previous arcade experience is preferred but not required. We are also interested in candidates with experience in areas such as: Vending equipment Electronics repair Field service Automotive electrical Appliances HVAC Low-voltage electrical Gaming or amusement equipment If you are technically inclined and good at diagnosing problems, we can teach you the arcade side of the business.
