Overview Join our dynamic facilities maintenance team as a Maintenance Associate, where your expertise keeps our operations running smoothly and efficiently! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of building systems and equipment. Your proactive approach and technical skills will ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for all. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry knowledge in a fast-paced setting that values teamwork and excellence. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and facilities infrastructure to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using schematics, hand tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and general building interior maintenance to uphold facility standards. Maintain facilities equipment including HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, electrical panels, and mechanical systems through scheduled repairs or emergency interventions. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical schematics to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions. Lead small maintenance projects or supervise team members during complex repairs or installations to ensure safety and quality standards are met. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests and communicating effectively with team members and other departments. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related roles with a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC repair, and building interior upkeep. Knowledge of schematics, electrical equipment repair, HVAC systems including troubleshooting and system repair skills. Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively; familiarity with maintenance painting and carpentry is a plus. Experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), including the use of schematics and technical manuals. Strong mechanical knowledge paired with electrical experience; familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English; ability to read technical diagrams and schematics clearly. Supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for guiding team efforts during maintenance projects. Certification or experience with HVAC systems repair, plumbing system maintenance, welding, or electrical work is highly desirable. Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively; experience with building interior maintenance is essential.
