Join our manufacturing team in Peachtree City, GA, and help keep our plant running at peak performance. As a rapidly growing facility, we at Silon US are seeking to fill the key Electrical Technician role with an individual that has a passion and deep understanding of the manufacturing processes within the plastics industry. This role will work hands-on with advanced equipment, ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and a proven track record of leading and initiating efficiency or quality improvement recommendations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all plant electrical systems, production machinery, and support equipment to ensure optimal operation and minimize unplanned downtime. Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in production and facility systems, including motors, control panels, wiring, and automated equipment. Provide timely technical assistance to production teams, ensuring safe and efficient equipment operation during shifts. Participate in the installation, set-up, and commissioning of new electrical systems, machinery, and automation, as well as upgrades to the current systems. Advise production personnel on basic preventive electrical maintenance practices and monitoring compliance to reduce equipment downtime. Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure compliance with company, OSHA, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred 5+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical field within a manufacturing environment (plastics manufacturing industry a plus) You are perfect if... You have hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. You're skilled in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems quickly and safely. PLC programming isn't new territory for you (and you enjoy working with automation). You take pride in preventing problems, not just fixing them.
