Commercial Ice Machine Service Technician Coastal Ice Machines, Inc. is seeking a dependable, mechanically skilled technician to join our team in the Savannah area. This is a full-time, year-round, local service position with an established company. We are looking for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with their hands, and solving mechanical problems. Previous ice machine experience is not required; however, applicants must have at least 2 years of relevant hands-on mechanical service or repair experience. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial ice machines and related equipment Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning of equipment Travel to customer locations in a company-provided service vehicle Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers Accurately document service calls and work performed Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicle Work independently while providing dependable, high-quality service Participate in the rotating weekend on-call schedule Qualifications Minimum 2 years of hands-on mechanical service or repair experience required Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Dependable, professional, and self-motivated Comfortable working independently and traveling to customer locations Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check Relevant experience may include: HVAC or refrigeration Commercial equipment repair Appliance repair Automotive or diesel repair Industrial or mechanical maintenance Other hands-on mechanical service experience Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience, skill level, and performance Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x 100% employer-paid health insurance Company service vehicle provided Tools provided SEP retirement plan with company contribution/match Dental and vision reimbursement opportunity 5 paid holidays per year PTO and sick leave after one year of full-time employment Year-round, full-time employment Opportunities to learn, develop technical skills, and grow with the company Schedule This is a full-time position.
