As a Sterile Processing Technician, you are responsible for ensuring every surgical instrument and piece of equipment is properly cleaned, decontaminated, sterilized, assembled, and ready for use across the hospital. Your work directly supports surgeons, procedural teams, and patients by making sure every tray is accurate, complete, and delivered on time. In this role, attention to detail isn't just important it's essential. You are a key part of the team that keeps surgical services running safely, efficiently, and without delay. This is a hands-on, high-accountability environment where your work behind the scenes has a direct impact on patient outcomes every single day. Day shift, part-time (20 hours per week). What You'll Do Clean, decontaminate, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment Inspect instruments for cleanliness, function, and accuracy before use Prepare and distribute surgical trays and case carts to clinical departments Follow strict infection prevention and sterilization standards Ensure timely delivery of instruments to support surgical schedules Work closely with SSP leadership and surgical teams to maintain workflow efficiency Preferred Qualifications CRCST, CIS, CBSPD, or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification Prior sterile processing, surgical tech, or healthcare experience preferred Additional Information Entry-level candidates without certification may start at a lower pay rate, with clear advancement opportunities upon obtaining certification. Training will be provided on day shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM).
