Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a hands-on Electronics Repair Technician to join a growing technical service team supporting automated industrial equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their electronics career who enjoys figuring out why equipment is not working, tracing electrical problems, repairing components, and testing equipment to make sure it is functioning properly before returning it to service. The position is primarily hands-on and would be a strong fit for someone with experience from an electronics program, technical school, military electronics environment, repair facility, industrial manufacturing company, or similar setting. Responsibilities Troubleshoot electrical and electronic equipment to determine the source of failures Repair electronic assemblies, controls, circuit boards, wiring, and related components Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment to test voltage, signals, continuity, and component performance Follow electrical prints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation Trace circuits and wiring to isolate electrical or electronic faults Perform soldering, desoldering, and electronic component replacement Inspect boards, connectors, wiring, and components for damage or wear Test repaired equipment to confirm the original problem has been resolved Troubleshoot both powered and non-powered electrical systems while following proper safety procedures Document completed repairs, findings, replacement components, and test results Work with other technical team members to solve recurring equipment issues Support general equipment reliability and improvement projects as needed Experience Hands-on experience troubleshooting or repairing electronics or electrical equipment Comfortable using a multimeter and other electrical test equipment Ability to understand electrical schematics or wiring diagrams Basic soldering and electronic repair experience Strong mechanical and electrical problem-solving ability Comfortable working around industrial electrical equipment Ability to methodically troubleshoot rather than simply replace parts Good communication and documentation skills Schedule Monday through Friday, first shift This is a full-time opportunity with a stable weekday schedule and an excellent environment for someone who wants to continue developing their electronics troubleshooting and repair skills
