Experienced Service Technician

Full-Time Pay:

$25

is seeking an Experienced Service Technician to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, skilled technician with strong troubleshooting abilities and hands-on experience servicing electronic security and low-voltage systems. We serve commercial, residential, and government clients throughout Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain access control, CCTV/video surveillance, intrusion detection, intercom, and other low-voltage systems
• Diagnose wiring, hardware, programming, and basic network-related issues
• Perform system testing, preventive maintenance, upgrades, and equipment replacement
• Program and configure security equipment as required
• Identify root causes and provide effective, lasting solutions
• Communicate professionally with customers and clearly explain findings and recommendations
• Accurately document work performed, equipment used, and recommended follow-up
• Work independently and take ownership of service calls from diagnosis through completion
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours service Qualifications
• 3+ years of electronic security or low-voltage experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience with access control, video surveillance, intrusion, and/or intercom systems
• Basic knowledge of IP networking
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely use ladders, hand tools, power tools, meters, and other test equipment
• Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills
• Ability to travel throughout Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. What We Offer
