Automation Technician ACE Partners - 5.0 Vadnais Heights, MN Job Details Full-time $30 - $36 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Vision inspection system Electrical maintenance Root cause analysis Associate's degree Sensors Full Job Description Automation Technician Vadnais Heights, MN $28 - $36 p/h Our client, a regulated medical device manufacturer, is looking for Automation Technicians to keep their automated production equipment running safely and reliably. You'll be the go-to person for troubleshooting and maintaining PLC-controlled equipment, robotics, and vision systems, working closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Maintenance to reduce downtime and improve performance. What you'll do: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, robotics, machine vision, sensors, motion control, and electrical/pneumatic systems Respond to downtime, find root causes, and put corrective actions in place Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to support uptime and production schedules Support installation, startup, and validation of new or modified equipment Make approved programming and parameter changes in line with change-control procedures Keep accurate maintenance records, backups, and work orders Train operators on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting Contribute to continuous improvement projects What you'll bring: 2+ years supporting automation, controls, or industrial manufacturing equipment Hands-on experience programming, servicing, and troubleshooting Epson robots Working knowledge of PLC/HMI platforms, ideally Rockwell/Allen-Bradley Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings Associate degree or technical diploma in Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics, or similar (or equivalent experience) Experience in medical device, pharma, or another regulated environment is a plus Flexibility to provide support outside regular hours when needed
INDJM Pay:
$30.00 - $36.00 per hour
