Job Description
Job Summary
We're looking for a hands-on Technician who enjoys fixing things, figuring out how mechanical systems work, and doing detailed repair work the right way.
This role is a strong fit for someone who is naturally mechanical — the type of person who can remove broken bolts, clean up damaged threads, fix tools, use shop equipment, and learn new repair techniques quickly. Backgrounds in automotive repair, machining, fabrication, maintenance, equipment repair, welding/brazing, or similar hands-on work are highly relevant.
We value relevant hands-on experience over exact industry background — especially if you are mechanically inclined, comfortable in a shop environment, and quick to learn technical repair work.
What You'll Do
Perform hands-on repair, overhaul, cleaning, testing, and mechanical work on components
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and help identify practical repair solutions
Use hand tools, power tools, shop equipment, fabrication tools, and testing equipment
Inspect parts, hardware, threads, fittings, housings, and assemblies for wear, damage, or repair needs
Support detailed repair tasks such as removing damaged fasteners, repairing threads, fitting parts, repairing tools/equipment, and preparing components for reassembly
Learn and perform specialized processes such as brazing, pressure testing, fixture setup, mechanical assembly, and other repair techniques
Follow work instructions, technical drawings, manuals, and repair procedures
Accurately document work performed in line with quality and regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For
Strong mechanical interest, mechanical understanding, and hands-on problem-solving ability
Comfortable using hand tools, shop equipment, fabrication tools, and mechanical repair equipment
Ability to work with precision, patience, and attention to detail
Willingness to learn new repair processes, ask good questions, and build technical skill over time
Reliable, coachable, and able to follow instructions
Able to work well in a team environment while also being able to independently own assigned tasks or projects
Experience in automotive repair, machining, fabrication, maintenance, equipment repair, welding/brazing, or similar hands-on fields
Preferred, But Not Required
Experience removing broken bolts, repairing threads, fixing damaged parts, or repairing tools/equipment
Familiarity with brazing, soldering, pressure testing, mechanical assembly, or component repair
Background in machining, fabrication, aviation, manufacturing, mechanical repair, equipment maintenance, overhaul, or similar hands-on repair environments
7am-3:30pm; Monday- Friday
